Ive got a simular set up to yours but ive got a bigger cutout in my tank, i can only think of 2 options, have the cutout made bigger or go back to useing the longer AF inlet manifold but you proberbly already know that, thats quite a small cutout

it needs to be taller as well as deeper, my cutout also carrys on to the front of the tank to allow for the cables.

i got a 90* bend on mine (throttle )apparently dellorto ones fit straight on .mines on the long saigon tank options i can think of concentric engine cones ,v force reed means you can remove the 5mm packer or p155 about with different manifolds or change to an amal mk2 there stumpier .

Make a spacer from ali to fit between the LTH manifold and the LTH flanged-rubber and use longer bolts to hold it all together. Job's a good 'un.

Actually, you don't say where the carb hits the tank, so my idea ^ might not work. Is it hitting at the top where the throttle cable enters the body of the carb, or is the back of the carb's body hitting the back of the cut-out in the tank?

it's only the throttle tube part that's in the way i have got a 90° bend for the throttle cable but it dosen't go under the tank ...
i have a freind that's going to make me a aly spacer next week cross my fingers hoping it will be ok.....

Had the same problem with a 13 litre tank when I fitted an LTH manifold to my Imola, twisted the carb to clear then it hit the toolbox. Ended up going back to std tank and ditching the toolbox as I have a legshield toolbox fitted.
Sorry not very helpful in the event that Mat bought the l/r tank from me. I blame LTH.

going to try a stainless tub and a ruber conector to get the carb out...
