Building me chop,can i earth the back light to the black terminal on the 12v box not the blue one,the metal one,sorry i dont know what the boxes are called.
Im assuming the blue one you mean the CDI which has the HT lead out of it
& the metal one being the regulator
So if this is so there should be a earth wire off the regulator to the frame ,so yes you can bolt it to the same earth point,
or onto the regulator earth
