Hi, just spent a fortune having a bike sprayed and the Chameleon Paint has come out all cloudy/patchy. Any ideas why this would happen please?

Simples, it was damp or cold either during the painting or whilst it was drying. It's called 'blooming' or 'blushing' and is caused by moisture trapped in the paint. If you are lucky you will be able to get rid of it by wet flatting with 2000 wet&dry followed by compound. If is deep though then it;ll have to be done againwoody69 wrote:Hi, just spent a fortune having a bike sprayed and the Chameleon Paint has come out all cloudy/patchy. I would try a little T Cut (or similar) on aa small area and see if it comes off....if it's mild and only happened due to being left to dry in a cold/damp atmos that may do it.woody69 wrote:Thank v much, bloke said it was meant to look like it. It also looks like there are dents in the panels but there aren't.Don't really want him to touch it again but not riding it like it is.
sorry woody but you paid this pro re-sprayer to do you scoot and hes buggered it? Take it back tell him why its sh** and he eitherv re-does it or gives you your money back.woody69 wrote:Hi, just spent a fortune having a bike sprayed and the Chameleon Paint has come out all cloudy/patchy.
