Can anyone tell me how the dust cover is secured as there's no lip for the circlip

This is on an '83 Lynx. The flywheel is the type with the 5 triangular cut outs.
Can anyone tell me how the dust cover is secured as there's no lip for the circlip Is it a different dust cover?
