Choke cable plate

Morning just wondering when i strip my series 2, I didn t take off a choke cable plate ,Did it have one ?

Do you mean the triangular shaped plate that keeps the cables to one side?

These were introduced during the S3 build. I'm sure S2's and early S3's had an odd shaped piece of wire which did the same job

Not trying to talk anyone out of a sale Corrado, but I reckon the wire ones don't work as well as the plate ones as far as actually keeping cables out of the way. The original ones I have seen have a lot of flex in them , which is prolly why they changed to a plate on the later ones. Look good on resto's though :)
