Can anyone tell me if there is a difference in shape of API S2 to Italian S2 leggys?

I dont think they are identicle, the side edge that folds down at the bottom of the legshields is a different width and wouldnt line up with Italian foot boards. Thats the ones Ive seen...

Curve at the top is different, late ones look like they've been cut down a bit at the top.

Some early Indian machines are Italian parts assembled in India. The late stuff is thinner, especially the API stuff.
