Can't remember if mine in the 80's ran a 60 stroke TV rod with the IT175 piston .Used it on the race track for a year no probs.

I think AF still keeps the Yamaha 175 IT piston in stock.

Mine was IT175 piston on 115 mm conrod (Yamaha RD400 like above I think). Very smooth revving TS1.

im also running IT175 piston on 115mm (RD 400 Rod) GP crank TS1 200
Used a tv rodded Gp crank with a DT175 piston in a cast barrell ( piston windows welded in ) for the last 10 years. not sure if you can use the DT piston in a TS1( ring pegs might be in wrong position, i know on my cast barrell one of them had been repegged.(by Taffspeed)

hello jake
got the dt175 piston (new) and a gp crank with tv175 rod (i think steve said taffspeed did the conversion years ago with quality big end bearing)
also got a brand new 60mm mec crank
just picked up a ts1 200cc barrel (needs replating)
havent got a clue what set up to choose
60mm crank with ts1 piston
tv175 rod with dt/it 175 piston
dt/it 175 piston with a different rod 58mm stroke crank
?????????
was thinking of using miku i tm24 carb on the set up like you as a tourer
cheers

Mine is a Wiseco IT 175 Piston (right) running on a BGM Crank (60/ 115 RD 400 rod).
I guess it´s also possible to use an Blaster piston which is used for an RB20 (left) or DT 175 (middle) but you have to displace the rings pins.
