Whitewall weathermans

Hello was going to fit above to series 2. But been told they only last 1000 miles as of being soft compound, any help on this subject

oh dear, ive just fitted them, changed from Conti w/w that i would get about 2/2500 miles out of. only done about 250 on the new ones so will keep an eye on them and keep you posted

You should get at least 2k out of the rear tyre, mine's about that now and is pretty well on the limit. The front has hardly worn at all. Brilliant tyres though, you don't get wet weather grip like that without having a soft compouind.

Agreed 2.5 to 3K on the rear still going when it went, on the front, sticks to the road is the clue? worth it in my opinion

3k on my weatherman rear tyre and plenty of drag starts, not whitewalls tho. if they wear they r working in my opinion. front still good for another 3k

Only thing between you and road so 3k sounds plenty good enough for me bearing in mind a rear tyre only the cost of a quiet night out.
