That's a hard one to answer as I cruise arond 50 - 55mph and don't thrash it. I bought it as 'improved lower revs pulling power' was stated and this is what it gives. I run on SX150 gears and 19 x 47 sprockets. the engine is fairly quick on acceleration and just keeps pulling to end of revs or limit of carb set-up, much better than an iron cylinder on hills especially. I am quite happy with it but, with hindsight, perhaps my money should have gone on a more proven design. The engine does need to be dynoed tho, and that is the next step.
