just on with a paint job for a customer ,but was having great difficulties with reactions in paintwork after three attempts to do it ,so decided to take it back to bare metal....

turns out ,this so called TV mudi is just an indian GP mudi ...with bits added /welded on to make it look like a TV mudi.
the probs i was having were caused by the inferior stopper/filler used to cover up the welds...
which is a shame really cos the work involved in doing this bodge was only let down by the final prep....filling etc.
if i had not had probs painting it ,and didnt strip it back to bare metal i would never have known........
pics to follow..........

Yes I have seen these several times before, dealers sold them like this before good remade SX/TV mudguards were available.

i have seen this several times but it is very clever,we always shot blast them back to base for this reason though, when you are ready for the top coat and it lifts it is very soul destroying!

Fibreglass ones are readily available now. Use one of those.
