I'm just about to seal a new tank, if I pour the whole can of sealant in the tank and swill it around for 10 minutes as per instructions - should I pour off any excess or just leave the tank on it's side so that any excess sets away from the filler or outlet boss?
Any other tips for sealing?
About to seal a tank..
it goes off pretty dam quick...i kept rotating the tank to keep an even spread of the stuff...as i said it goes off quick so you wont be doing it for long

Use as the instructions say regarding quantity and rotate for the recommended time or a bit more. I set the tank to rest and cure so that any excess can run out the fuel tap hole.
Turn On, Tune In, Cop out!

Carl, It's a far eastern origin tank and I don't want to worry about it springing a leak so I'm just sealing for peace of mind
