Rear Wheel Oil Seal????

Any other suggestions on how to SUCCESSFULLY fit the oilseal to the rear wheel bearing with bearing in place..........

After removing the old seal I warm and grease the lip of the new seal and bearing surface and using a large socket tap the seal in gently. I use Rolf seals but always end up with the seal not going in straight, spring from back jumping off or inner lip turning inside out.........

Anyone with a better/simpler suggestion......................pretty please

get a peice of plastic, the type used on vacuum packaging, just long enough to go round axle, hold it in a cylinder and push through seal, oil the seal and plastic. put plastic tube over axle and slide seal into place, press home, remove plastic and hey presto, job done.
