for sometime i have been frustrated with my rapido engined scoot and its difficult starting and not being able to dial in the carburation properly.. i stripped the motor down last night and imagine my surprise when i discovered a 6mm hole from the mag housing right through to the base of the transfer port.. i had expermented with a vespa flywheel a while ago and needed to drill and tap new stator holes to get the timing right..
i would like to say i had inveneted a new form of 'boost' porting, but sadly it was just an air leak.. off to get the 'chemical metal' out now..
