took hub apart to see how anti dive arm swiveled and its just steel on steel with no bearings or bushes ! its also slack on bolts in bar advice pleas

Send it back, it's crap!
All other respected anti dive kits (Lambretta Innovation/PM, LTH, CS Engineering etc.) have bushes or bearings on the calliper carrier plate and both ends of the tie bar. The ScootRS one is a Mickey Mouse attempt. Shame really, but I doubt they'll change it any time soon.

what a crock "o" s**t, Engineering at it worst!!!!!!!!!!!!!.lol.

the top hat shaped washer is known as a 'shoulder washer' this means that you can tighten the bolt up hard and still be able to move the two joints easily ,are you sure you have bolted it together right,

I predict that this thread has got legs and is set to run and run. No doubt the crux will be wether a shoulder washer set up is as good as one with bushes. I suspect i know the answer to this. Pound says randal wont raise his head on this one...

Except it's made of the wrong material and should be a push fit plus there are no bushes on the tie bar which rotates too, very poor.

So has anyone used them with good effect over a reasonable time period, say 5K miles? What are the other ones like has anyone pulled them apart, how much do the other ones cost and how easy or hard are they to fit?

and here in lies the issue, was having conversation with RBgaz today and as he said yeah but they are half the price of Uk ones. My only questions is people dont know that there is a difference and randall aint going to promote the fact....

surely for the price they are its better than nothing ? the stress on the non anti dive when braking must be really bad ?

p.s now mine works proper !! (as it was sent to me preassembled wrong !! with no instru !!!)
