SS stand has sheared in two where the metal bracket sits on the spring side, one of the brackets is also out of shape, only had it 3 months so not happy.. Need to get a replacment, but this time chromed steel with holes pre-drilled for the rubbers plus a fixing kit. Anyone reccomend a decent one at a reasoanable price?

Also had to use an impact hammer when tightening the screws on my Sccotsrs master-cylinder. Next time i have to take it off i wont be able to re-use them so need to have some ready for when i do. Also the banjo bolt that goes into the caliper is burred so need a replacement one of those as well. Can i use non Scootrs banjo bolts & screws and if so, anyone again reccomend somewhere.

Sef, none of that sounds good. All I can advise is that ScootRS banjo bolts are crap. You can get decent replacements from any decent motorbike shop that makes up brake lines. I se Aerotek or HEL. I think they are M10 with a 1.25 pitch, but don't quote me.

PS I wouldn't use an impact hammer to tighten anything. Do you mean the screws that secure the reservoir cover or the ones that secure the unit to the bars.

Unfortuantly its the screws on the reservoir... didnt have any choice as there were already burred over and i couldnt get them tight eneough with a screwdriver so out with the big boy... The screws that came with kit are like chocolate and next to useless as you have really tighten the ones on the resoervoir.
