Hi all
I have a new TS1 kit and plan to put a 34mm delly on it. The kit came with an AF 32 manifold, so I obviously need the 34mm with the double bead. MB do 'em for 50 odd squid and AF do 'em for 28 squid........I'm all for saving money, but I'm also keen on not spending money and then finding out that the sodding thing won't fit.
So, my question is........does anyone use the AF manifold and is it a reasonable fit (with clearance from the frame) for the money?
Or, do I need to spend the extra cash on an MB one.
Also, do I need the packing plate?
Many thanks in advance.

I'd pay the extra and go for the MB one. The AF one is cack and if you have a toolbox fitted the carb will hit it. A big dent in the toolbox or modifiction is the only way the carb will sit vertically. The MB one will position the carb better and looks like it will flow much better. I have had one fitted with a yam block and packer and now with a Tassinari block fitted. I use concentric cones, but it all depends on what length shock you have and your frame.
I have used both but now use a Jimmers manifold because it has more panel clearance and more frame clearance. Pm him on here
