Just watched and saw item 220559764796 on fleabay......"Lambretta TV200 Light Horn Switch orig BECME Innocenti"....Is it??
According to Sticky's book this would be a TV175 switch as the lines are going the wrong way. Or is it another case of Lambretta fitting whatever was at hand at the time?.....Just curious..

Yes, I saw that one I think. It was a TV175 S2 switch I thought. It may have come off a TV200, but I'd doubt it was original.

I'm not 100% convinced that the switches in Stickies book are totally accurate. I too had an original, very early TV200 on which I had to replace the dip switch. The remains are out in my garage and they indicate that the old switch was, according to Stickie, a TV175 type.

Possibilities:-

1) TV200 was originally built with TV175 switchgear when they first came down the line in 1963
2) Switch broke many years ago and the dealer supplied a TV175 type switch- would anyone be bothered that the lines went the "wrong way" all those years ago??
3) Innocenti used whatever was available on the line

Consequently the Danish switch on Ebay may well have been 100% original to the original build in Milan, although it doesn't fit in with Stickies book.

I just don't know.

On the other hand I have seen a completely original TV200 with the switch in the Special style, but with the finer ribbing. Which I think is what Sticky describes from memory. I know of another such switch as well.
