Could you not just take the big orange circle out?

Yes, defo useable. You could stick a bit of J B Weld in and rub it back flat if you wanted

IMOP Thats good to use , I would just clean up the rough edges and away you go. This must be a special casing the threads etc look a mess :o But all is retreiveable. good luck.

I have a 125 Special casing like that in perfect running condtion, mounted on my Series 1 replica... Run for 6000 miles without missing a beat. Go for it tiger!
