Just a few things first up that I need to establish.
Loctite - so many options, so which strength for the old alloy cases and studs?
Exhausts - great info, but so many options and opinions in forums etc. - I am unsure as to which way to go. At the outset I will get it running as a stock scooter. A knowledgeable friend has told me how to resurrect/decarbon a muffler, but the Clubman style seems to be a good option for standard/mildly tuned engines for day to day use.
Chain - in my normal (sport/super bike) world my chain would be considered stuffed, but the manual implies that stretched is OK.
But to what degree/length/sag.
Plus more no doubt as the rebuild progresses.

loctite would need to be a fairly low strength if used on ally ,
the use of pull down chain guides now makes the use of a stretched chain unnecessary were as before it was the only way to achieve certain gear combinations and exhaust choice is down to what you want it to do be it race ,fast road or touring
