hello there is there a difference in angle of the shamfer on lambretta engine cones, just putting a engine in to an api series 2, bought new cones and and engine bolt but the new cones look a differnt angle to the old ones and dont fit in the frame properly any help would be much appriciated

Don't know if they are at a different angle, but S2 ones are certainly shorter.

now is that because the tube on the frame is longer?
