jetex to dellorto

while i`m waiting for a choke conversion kit for the delly,i`ve just come in from cutting a hole in panel before i take it to dans & seans for a set up on the dyno i went back into garage and tried the brass choke slide out of the jetex 22mm into the 30mm delly and it was a snug fit can anyone tell me if their are the same in dia or length

just try it matey
as long as it shuts off and opens ok it will probably be ok....
the PHBH ones are 8mm diameter...and approx 13mm long on the parralell section......and approx 21mm overall....

thanks sean, got bgm bellmouth but not been able to get long throtle cable yet,sorted van to bring scoot will pm you when ready

The Dellorto choke piston is longer and heavier, I replaced my Jetex choke piston with the Dellorto to help it shut off properly. As Sean says, just make sure it's shutting off properly as you have done it the other way round!
