buy from your local dealer instead .at least you can see what you are buying, it might cost a bit more but you don't end up with a load of crap through your door

Here in the states this is sadly not an option for most. I will say that the ebayer name might have been a clue. Sucks you got gipped. Did you neg the seller?

I've bought a few things off 'These and Those' over the years and tbh I generally find his stuff not too bad concidering the fact that it is cheap. I have had reason to complain though but found him very good at responding and in both cases he refunded (partial because I accepted the lower quality). I would certainly buy stuff off him in future.

From memory I've had:
A chrome plated indian big bore (was £35 but I complained aboiut the bracket being bent and he knocked £10 without any fuss).
A stainless flywheel cowl which was £10 and has been on the scoot for several k miles without issue.
I've just received a headset overhaul kit which was £4.95 and LOOKS ok, (time will tell)

Try sending him a message through ebay, I bet he responds a lot quicker than others, he will want to avoid negative feedback at all costs.

That said, he's selling cheap stuff of unknown origin so maybe buying brake components from him is taking a bit of a risk :?

I had some crap off them once too nearly 5 years ago and haven't used them since. What annoyed me was that they had to have wrapped it when they posted it and should have noticed the obvious damage to it but sent it anyway in the hope that I'd say nothing! Miffed still!
