some pics of Grimeca hub fitted to 1st prototype of SCOMADI ,at present you can only have it anti dive as disc is on opposite side to the drum or disc retaing trailing link on a normal susp set up.Anti dive set up is SS and calliper is Grimeca same as ones on all our other hubs its used on PX disc models so no probs with spare pads etc. We have some new links that have been made for us by MB based on his SS disc links that have provision for a normal non anti dive calliper carrier these will be out in next couple of weeks if you dont want anti dive.
The hub is a genuine Grimeca tubeless pressure die cast unit we get them direct from Italy brand new, they are the same width as a std lamby front rim as they have a deep well there are no problems fitting the stronger walled 90+mph tyres like schwalbes.Speedo drive is same thread as italian cable. The hub fits in std forks any link type
They cost around £261.00 incl vat from http://www.pmtuning.co.uk .
we have another version as used on production SCOMADI with a different spoke shape this one is wider about the same as wide lamby rims . this one is only available by special order.
If you go on website http://www.lambrettainnovation.co.uk you can see it fitted on the scoot in SCOMADI sect.

Hi Frank, Can the calliper and/or carrier plate be easily removed so that the hose can be left fitted when removing the wheel?

It would be nice to see one fitted on a finished scooter to see how they look with mudguard etc.CPH Lambretta wrote:Also have you got any pictures because I've never seen one of these fitted.

I personally think that this front set up is both good-looking and a good improvement as you have the rim and the hub joined together in one piece, the only downside is that you have a different rim at the rear, so you have to chose which spare wheel put behind the legshields...or carry 2 different type of spare wheels

Just carry a repair kit with tubeless, not many m/cycles carry spare wheels

Hi Damdam,
Thanks for the pictures, I saw these of Scumdogs scoot down under and didn't even notice he had this disc fitted.
I was hopeing for some pictures of one of these discs fitted to a GP in black with normal type dampers and thats exactly what I got!

that's right mate, but I like to have a 3th bullet in my gun, is one of the reason why I love classic scooters!Just carry a repair kit with tubeless, not many m/cycles carry spare wheels

The front wheel is combined hub/rim, you couldn't carry a spare. (well you could but it would be overkill)damdam wrote:...or carry 2 different type of spare wheels![]()
