Braided fuel hose, best way

Any one got some tips on the best way to secure a jubilee clip on braided fuel hose. dont say a screwdriver.. :D I mean rather than securing the jubilee clip staright on the frayed end is there anything someone can recoomend to sit over the end in between the jubilee clip and the hose?

dont say gaffer tape.... ;)

The photo's aren't very clear, the larger part of the clamp is actualy a hose clip, the worm drive is on the far side from the camera, you just see it in one of the shots. Clamp onto the spigot in the same way as a hose clip.

They don't have the same adjustability range as a normal hose clip so you need to get the size right.

They look great but they're still just a posh jubilee clip.

Be careful with braided hose that you don't kink it as once it kinks it stays kinked and can lead to fuel starvation and if not spotted could lead to you changing CDI, Regulator, Stator plate, etc in a bid to find out why it keeps stopping and starting. :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops:
