ser3 horn

Hi if i fit 12v electronic ignition kit do i have to change the horn from 6v to 12v

the oe 6v ac horn will work [just as pathetically] on 12v
but an AC horn wouldn't work with DC

oh, just noticed your location.
used to go to parties in diss & surrounding villages [can't remember the names] years ago. I was living in wymondham at the time.

If it's a 6V AC ( Non Battery) horn it will work great on a 12V AC system, again non battery.

Just converted a 6v AC SX150 to electronic 12v AC..............Horn works great.......

i fitted a speedflight (50cc auto) one to my last scoot bit like this also didnt dim the lights as much when applied

If you haven't bought one yet I'd go for a 12v horn because as shocky said, it won't dim the lights as much when used.
