Have a JET 200 that has very faint frame nos together with a V5

once the frame has been cleaned up and repainted the numbers will not be visible

what would you do restamp the numbers or attach a vin plate

mask it off when you paint and leave it as is.

Faint numbers on a Jet? Mine are as crisp as a crisp thing. Not wishing to worry you but are you sure its kosher?

I,m not worried on that score they look geninue to me

the fire damage is more worrying
