T5 buzzers on a DC 12v electronic Lynx?

I'd be surprised if anyone's tried before :D , but is there any reason why you couldn't wire T5 indicator "buzzers" into a battery model electronic Lynx?

Somewhere at home I've got the Haynes T5 manual which I hope has got a wiring diagram to compare against the Lynx one.

If there's no reason why you can't, can anyone give me an idea what I need to think about in terms of relays, earth etc.

Ta for any help ;)

The only problem I can see is that the T5 indicator circuit is AC, so the buzzer may not work (or last long) on DC. But any 12v DC buzzer should do the job.

Illegal, yeah, that's a definite then :ninja: :smug:

I'll give this some further thought then____________be warned, I'm bound to be back with further questions which give away my ignorance of electrical matters :D

Why would they be illegal? I believe the MOT states that if any machine has indicators fitted then at least one of each side must be visible to the driver, if not then it must be fitted with a tell-tale device, this can be visual or audible.
