thats a very interesting site,
i referred to it on our great debate that was about primary compression ratios...
high primary compression (hpc) /low primary compression (lpc)
check out the crankwebs they are using...
lots of other good stuff on there that could possibly be usefull
pistons, and their weights ,cylinder head designs,
porting configurations etc....all good interesting stuff....

Had my eye on those Toroidal heads for a while - Considering this is the place in the motor where all the action takes place, combustion chambers don't seem get much attention bar squish and compression ratios.
Same thinking. I looked over this (Thanks Sean) and other stuff while looking for surface coatings & treatments for piston rings...Avantone wrote:Had my eye on those Toroidal heads for a while - Considering this is the place in the motor where all the action takes place, combustion chambers don't seem get much attention bar squish and compression ratios.
This was another good article, a little dated, but it still contains some good info...http://www.vintagesleds.com/library/man ... effect.pdf
