Tubeless Rim Modifications

In light of a current thread
I would just like to know the answers to the below......
The EXACT Bike - It replacement valve as fitted/tested/ used by some owners out there. A link to their product would be ideal. I want to use ones that are known to work.
The EXACT relieving needed / recommended on the rim itself to avoid any friction issues. A pic would be very useful.
I only ask this as a concerned rider using these rims on road and enduro scoots so need answers. This is not to prolong said thread or get involved in slanging, just some straight forward honest advice / improvements that improves my scoots and safety.

That's the ones I used
You can also get them from Demon Tweeks (90 degree valve)
http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ ... BIKVLV10CH or most bike shops stock them. Mind you, the ebay one is cheap and not worth travelling round your bike shops for TBH.

I'm gonna buy these valves, too.
No-one has responded to the rim modification, though (not here nor the 'other' post) - can any one please post pics?

The valves suggested look like the push in sort. If this is so how do they grip the valve hole?
The ones currently on my rims have a threaded shaft and have a locking ring nut on the inside. Which is better - am now slightly confused

The push in valves are extremely tight and similar to those used on car tyres. The bolt in type you have fit into a smaller hole and are therefore not interchangeable... Unless you drill out the hole.

What are the best tubeless rims and best valves to fit then, I was thinking of getting some but not sure now what to do now

If you're looking for Lambretta rims then put some time aside and read this...

...so that you can make an informed choice.
Personally, the Cambridge Lambretta ones are probably the best at the moment, but £200 each
Or you could wait a few months for the SIP alloy rims and see what they're all about
