using vespa 5-pin rectifier.
running lights AC
horn, other stuff DC
so [thanks to firekdp for the tip], will use the C terminal on the rectifier unit to control the voltage to the battery, which needs to be connected to a live DC circuit when in use, but isolated from this when the scooter is not running to avoid draining the battery.
if a "standard" [Casa in this case] ignition switch is used, could the rectifier C be always connected to the accessories power supply, which is then connected to the battery +ve when turning the key [say using the purple/black connection], and then the AC lights be turned on with the last click of the key [so using brown/orange]
or is that too much AC/DC mixing...?
the alternative is use the key to switch just the DC circuits and always have the AC lights on whenever the engine is running...
