After ten years riding a TS1 Lambretta I bought the T5 in 2005 on ebay.
The previous owner stored it in a shed for years so I changed nearly everything, excepting the painted parts
Frame:
Bitubo Shocks
Semi-Hydraulic Front Disc Brake
Analogue Speedo
Engine:
ported 172 Malossi kit,
MMW CNC designed Head,
reworked crank,
standart carb (ovalized) - Main jet: 125, BE3, NGK B9 Plug
SIP Performance Exhaust
21 tooth MMW CNC designed 16 spring clutch
It does 16BHP on the dyno, which is acceptable for rotary drive and top speed is about 125 km/h
Next weeks the crank will be changed against a reworked crank (188° inlet) with 54 mm stroke. Capacity will be 180 cm³ than.
Carb will be changed to a Keihin PWK 28 on a Polini manifold with 15mm spacer and a Vespatronic ignition will be fitted.
It´s reliable so far and road legal but sometimes I miss me Lambretta 14 l fuel tank
