Not really a 'set up' question BUT.....I seem to have inherited three Spanish Dellorto's and was simply wondering where they are in the 'pecking order'. I would guess somewhere between genuine Italian and the Jetex etc.....or am I wrong? Are they any good?...opinion would be welcome.........thanks

Nothing wrong with them at all. Obviously need a damn good clean and replace worn parts where necessary. Most parts interchangeable with corresponding Italian made carbs. Try Eurocarb in Reading for any hard to find spares you might need.

I believe that like the Indian 22mm ones stamped 'Spaco', the Spanish 22mm ones are stamped 'Areas' or something very similar..............

The castings look virtually identical to Italian ones to me. The float is slightly different but it's still a 5 gram one and the finish on the alloy is slightly shinier for some reason. Thanks again, Gerry
