Just fitted my new 13ltr fuel tank with both side cutouts, 2 problems ?
1, i use a cam lam ramair filter and it appears far to big and the only way for it to go is horizontal ! is anyone using theres this way ? or would i be best to put one of the gause/mesh bellmouth ones on ?
2, the petrol tap arm seems to be way to short now ! are you to exchange it for a longer one ? :(

Had exactly the same issue after fitting a long range tank on the GP. I've run the filter horizontal all year with no problems, just check it for filth and give the filter a good clean regularly and you won't have any grief.

I also had to extend the petrol rod by an inch or 2....... sounds like we bought the same tank !

All the best

Darrell
