Lambretta rear swivel seat
Also anyone shed any light on the rear seat shown in this picture..... the seat can rotate 90 degrees so that you can ride side saddle (whatever takes your fancy). It is the first time I have seen one of these for a Lambretta, anyone got any info?

Ive never seen a swivel seat, but ive seen a few side saddle seats that have a fold up backrest and fold down foot rest.
The side saddle was for a time long ago when ladies wore skirts
and straddling a scooter was seen as undignified

When i was young my Mom said "if you haven't got anything nice to say, say nothing at all " ..................... and people wonder why I'm quiet around them !

Thanks for the replies. looks like this was a Lambretta period accessory then with at least three sold
BIT OF FILM MEMORABILIA YOU"VE GOT THERE MAN! the failed first james bond film "on her majestys post office counter" (1959) featured a chase sequence with three li 150"s with ejector seats, culminating in the star (authur mullard) getting catapulted into the chinese tri-ads from the pillion of one of these scoots, and nacking them with his "X" gadget, the "flying banana". all were thought to be scrapped, after being sold to workington district council as litter patrol vehicles. one did surface in HI DE HI (an un-screened episode entitled "miss cathcart gets the clap") in 1982.
