If your Amal is set up i would leave it. If not a 35 tmx.

nothing is wrong with my amal it has about 400 hundred miles only on it i have been told to put a different carb because the amal is hard to set and the mikuni 35 mm is a lot better and easy to set up and gives more miles to the gallon.

Very good service and dont charge the earth like scooter dealers.

I am using a 24mm mikuni on my 225 classic rapido and get about 55 mpg, i intend using the same carb on my RT260 kit, have discussed it with mark who said it will run fine

Mikuni`s are definitely a bit easier to set -up, but an Amal or Dellorto can be set up more accurately with a bit more effort. in my experience.
