I have got hold of a Vespa legshield toolbox, which i am going to fit to my GP over the winter.
I want to fit a fuel gauge, with a sender installed in my standard petrol tank.
Want to do this on a budget, has anyone got any recomendations/tips.

cheers

that's the one, i have a stainless 13l tank from ssp, you have to cut hole in top of tank the rubber gasket that comes with gauge kit is your template.

i used an epoxy glue to bond nuts under the five drill holes to mount sender, athough i am sure some self tappers and some petrol proof sealant would be fine

i just cut the length of wire that goes through the float to shorten it to tank size, gauge seems ok quality also

i can post some piccies tomorrow......
