Have just put the piston back in my rb20 and noticed that at the top of the piston there are 2 wear spots that correspond with the finger inlets in the barrel. There are no rough edges and you cant really feel any thing but you can see it.... :o Is this somthing i should be overley worried about? To be honest i havent go the money to get it sorted but if i wanted to would it be a case of getting the fingers shaved back or somthing like that?

Any suggestions.

When you say the wear marks line up with the finger inlets do you mean the wear is the same width of the inlets.......if so maybe some slight smoothing / profiling of the top of the inlets might help? It might just be a sharp nicasil lip left over from the plating process, thats not been removed.
There was a thread on here recently about nicasil removal - by Scooterotica's very own soap dodger I believe. :D :D sorry David, couldn't resist.

you oftern have 'shiny' spots left on the piston, and the cylinder for that matter. i wouldnt be too worried if thers no raised or dipped bits.
