I have one of Scooterloopy johns brass QA throttles but i cant seem to get it to grip the end of the splined rod on my series 3. It came with one grub screw but it doesnt seem up to the job. There are 2 other threaded locating holes which look like they could also take grub screws? Can anyone tell me if this is the case?

Any advice on the correct way to set these up greatly accepted... :D

John said that the kits are universal so hopefully that isnt an issue..... :?

Sef,

I didn't use a splined rod for mine (I save the splined rods for the gear-change side) and I simply fitted a rolled pin to secure the wheel, but perhaps the version you have is different to mine.

I have SLJ's phone number if you want to speak to John Madison. He's not a guy who rips people off by supplying bad parts.
