Is it possible to remove the lighting coils on a variotronic as you would on an indian stator
if so is it the 3 brass coils?

I think the on Variotronic stators I have seen, the lighting coils are wound as one contiuous piece of copper wire, I havnt actually measured the thickness but its about 20 ec (enamel coated) wire, It would be possible to un-wind or re-wind the Laminates but it dosnt come apart like a Ducati type stator. you would have to unravel the wire from the bobbins, as they dont slide off as with the Ducati type. I havnt got one here to give you any more feedback, but I am sure someone will help out. All the best
