spaco carbs

thinking of buying a 28mm are there any real difference between these and a phbh delorto,

I have used a 30mm one in the past, found it ok. They need jetting slightly richer than the equivilant dellorto and are quite a bit heavier so the carb rubbers dont last as long before splitting.

I have only come across one large-bodied Spaco, and that was back-to-front when compared to a Dell'orto. For example, the choke sat on the opposite side of the venturi, as did the fuel inlet.

This might have some bearing on the run of your fuel pipe and cables (though probably not much bearing on it.....)
