I am looking for a rear shock for my series 1. I have heard mixed reviews on the R1 adapted rear shock and not realy heard anything about the off the shelf shocks you can buy. Can any one recommend one I have around the £150 mark to spend and I also ride solo 90% of the time.
Thanks

my last lamby i had a R1 shock and was happy with it , i even used to mess around with the bump and re bound but if im honest i couldnt tell the diference for everyday road riding ,
the next one i buy though will be a Hagon , they may not look as fancy as some other brands , but i have never heard anything bad about them and thats good enough for me

I've got a Chiselspeed adjustable on my TS1 and a converted R1 on the chop.
Happy with both, but I've heard good reports about the Hagon.
BGM did have a problem with leaks and then again heard of a few R1 shocks snapping!!

Isn't that the same as the Rich Presley one, Protech?
I have a Hagon on my other scoot, a but more spongey but good for the money.
