Morning all,
Just put a new sliding dog on my layshaft (spanish dog on spanish shaft). My question is, when the dog is at 1st gear position on the layshaft, should the area that locates withthe gears actually stand proud on the end of the layshaft (by about 1mm). Hope this wording makes sense to someone.

check you have all the loose gears the correct way round first ,the last cog should sit (about)1mm higher than the shaft and sliding dog ,i will assume you have a li 150 box?
