I'm putting on a later AF light flywheel.

I know. I know.

I just need the instruction booklet on how to modify the stator in case I can't just bolt the damn thing on and ride.

hello,

i hope you'll find a download link for the instruction booklet. otherwise send me an email.

additionally to the info in the booklet, we have found some problems which have been reported in the lcgb forums as well. the signal for the pickup seems to be interrupted by the brass rivets. even when the flywheel works on thte street, we always had problems at the dyno with getting the spark signal.

for the Li/SX version of the flywheel it is well worth to have a look at the Pickup position. on two of three engines i did, there was the need to put washers under the stator plate to get the alignment of flywheel and stator plate right.

hope this helps.

cheers philipp

How about this question:

When looking into one of the cut-outs in the center of the AF light flywheel (there are three of them), can anyone tell me where the electronic Pick Up should be?

1 - Should it be lined up at the "z" shaped part of the magnet?
2 - Should it be lined up at the "square" part of the magnet (beneath the "z" shaped magnet)?

Are you saying that the closer the Electronic Pick-Up gets to the brass rivets (that hold the magnets on, I assume) the Pick-Up starts to fail to detect the trigger?
