Kickstart shaft

Are series 3 kickstart shafts interchangeable between models? I seem to recall that there are different lengths available.

I need one for a GP side casing and would like to also use an earlier ramp fitting to get the adjustment for the kickstart.

I believe they are supposed to be all the same, Italian remade ones (I have one) are certainly much better quality than the Indian ones.
I shall be doing the same this winter but my reason is to take the pressure off the endplate.
