Are they any good? Any problems with them or anything to watch out for, ie. dodgy studs?

I've never head a problem with these hubs, other than the studs. The studs with the hexagon head are better than the round ones which they put on a couple of years ago but still not brilliant. IMO if you replace the studs with good ones, they are OK

is that just a bolt through? never thought of that tbh

They were pressed in ones which obviously didn't need a hexagon head. They would have been OK if the metal of the stud hadn't been the consistency of cheese. Thankfully they were dead easy to press out in a vice and replace with the MB press in ones

Just fitted mine this morning and all seems well, good fit, tighter on the the hub splines than the one i took off, nipped up fine..only problem I had was it is defo round as the shoes needed changing as they had been fetteled to match sil hub that was obviously oval..

I've seen two of these hubs recently where the steel braking surface had grooves worn into it after less than 500 miles. Obviously not using hardened steel, or any steel for that matter!!

SHITE!!! IMHO.
