Rat Fink by Scooterotica!

This beautiful Lambretta started life as a bog standard Lambretta Li.....but has since been cut and built by the Team @ Scoooterotica. Read below to find out more about the paint job history, and scooter spec.......

Who is Ed Roth?

Ed "Big Daddy" Roth (1932–2001) was an artist and cartoonist who created the Hot-Rod icon Rat Fink and other extreme characters. As a custom car builder, Roth was a key figure in Southern California's "Kustom Kulture"/Hot-rod movement of the 1960s.

What is Rat Fink?

Rat Fink is one of the several hot-rod characters created by Ed "Big Daddy" Roth. Roth's hatred for Mickey Mouse led him to draw the original Rat Fink. After he placed Rat Fink on an airbrushed monster shirt, the character soon came to symbolize the entire hot-rod/Kustom Kulture scene of the 1950s and 1960s.

Scooter Spec:

Frame mods: Cut-down farme loop and legshields, smoothed tool box door, custom LED rear light fitment, GP drop bars, GP cut-down side panels - with one piece welded bridge and cut-boards.

Engine Mods: AF175 Alloy Kit, with fast road tune - ported by Sean Brady, including special 'one-off' reed valve modification and boost ports to cylinder & piston. AF Race crank, ported casings, DJ exhaust, 30mm Delly.

Paint: Gold base coat and green pin striping by Sean Brady @ Scooterotica, airbrushing and lacquer done by Nooch @ The Garage Artwerks

Chrome: Quality Chrome (Hull)

Other bits: ScootRS disc brake, ScootRS drops, LED rear light, Vega rear hugger.

Final Build: Sean, Dan, Wayne @ Scooterotica
