Am in the process of building my second project, an indian gp cutdown, frames cut and am now in the process of trying to remove the powder coat that someones put on it (only want it off the frame loop really).

My question is whats the best way to get it off as its hard work with a wire brush attachment in a drill and its a bit over the top with an angle grinder, so whats the best way? :? :!:

  PMSL..Back to post, why do you want to remove it matey, you can use the powder coat as an excellent base for primer..just flat it off and prime, less chance of rust coming through at a later date..

take it to a powder coaters to be chemically stripped, doesn't take long at all. And shouldn't cost much.

Im only stripping the frame hoop as im welding up the tool box door, air intake, choke and lever holes. The frame itself I will flat and use the powder coat as a base.

Thanks for the answers anyway, will try nitromors next then :)
