rear hub studs

just got a ok rear hub, but the studds are no good, they have a hex head on the back, so do they unscrew or are they pressed? is it a normal thread or a left hand thread?

where is the best place to get new studs, cone etc??

Jed,

I have seen both press-in and LH thread studs with hex heads, so it is not always obvious. Some of the screw-in items have a very slightly domes appearance, but others are flat.

The best press-in replacements are made by MB. Not cheap, but far better than others that I have seen, bought and then rejected on safety grounds.

Ones I bought from Scooter Resorations were flat thin hex headed LEFT hand threads. Suggest you try to unscrew them (they should be very tight) and see what happens................
