im looking for tyres for the ts1 in 100/90/10

im after reasonably sticky ones but that are good in the wet too.....as its always wet.

im not a fan of the dexter/weatherman pattern as they seem to make the bars vibey. im impressed with the conti navigators on my girlfreinds vespa but cant find 100/90/10

how are the racemens or conti twists in the wet and the yokohamas.

im brave in the dry but chicken s**t in the wet so need all the help i can get

Got racemans 100/90 front and back and seem fine in wet and are spot on in dry, after a run on feeling them they get plenty hot and sticky which is prob why they run down quicker..definalty no wobbles.. :?

We race on 3.50 -10 51P Sava MC20 Wet Soft Race. Yeah these are soft but are fantastic in the wet and if its safety then you wont mind having to replace em more quickly if you are in one bit still :P

"Here are the basic test results from the giant comparison tyre test, in the Twist & Go Magazine. It was a very professionally conducted test using the same rider, and he was not allowed to know what make of tyre was fitted each time,so that there would be no bias. After testing each tyre one by one, around a go-cart track,he had to go off and assess the tyre out of 10, on Grip,Feel,Safety & Confidence, plus, best laps, and top speeds were recorded, compared, and included in the 'Overall Results' aswell.

mmm no savas in test Nick.. No Dunlop tt92's either and these two tyres are the grippiest out there and are the main chosen tyre here and in europe.

yes the test is for later model twist and goes with larger wheels. i thought it was interesting to see though in absence of anything better.

i know scootering did a few tests over the years with the zippy 1 doing well so hopefully someone better organised than me knows what addition :ugeek:

maybe the weathermans are the answer, or the navigators.....same..same.

tony, off topic a bit but see who is fronting the scootering web site. http://www.scootering.com/
