hb 175
I have fitted a HB 175 ,ran it in for 500 miles,125 gearbox,22mm delorto,138 main jet ,scorpion pipe and fitted all the carb bits that was supplied. I can only get to 50/55mph is this the best i can hope for .The only thing i havent done is alter the timing which i was told to do,will it make any diffrence, has any body got the same kit or ideas. :barfy:

the timing will make a slight difference, but i doubt it will turn it into a 70mph machine which is roughly what it should be.
you say you are still on 125 gearbox, does that include std sprockets(15 46 ) or has it been up geared to suit tune/power..?
i usually use li 150 box with 16/46 on these sort of set ups /tunes.

Check your timing as a matter of course, should be 19 deg, I believe. Have you called Harry/Pro-Porting?

Have you had a look at the plug colour? That main jet seems huge.Had a 205 once with a 22mm and that was rich and took the edge of the performance as it had a 125 in it,was fine with a 122.But yours may be different so be careful when you down jet.
